That is until the Hollywood system recognized the money making potential of that style then proceeded to gobbled him up and like every other movie maker turned him into a franchised red nosed parody of himself.

Thank god for the Korean movie industry is all I say.Kamiboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17070558290345696566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9186345736950611814.post-68188484249152894062011-10-17T19:57:25.747-07:002011-10-17T19:57:25.747-07:00Having built my own Windows 7 rig 2 years ago I mi...Having built my own Windows 7 rig 2 years ago I might reccomend a few things. If you absolutely can't find a program compatible with Win 7, the Windows virtual PC feature works great if you have a version of Windows 7 that supports it. You can even create a link to the program to run off the desktop in win7 without actually opening up the whole virtual console environment so that you can switch back and forth between the windows in the win 7 environment seamlessly. Works great for some of my wife school grading programs and and whatnot that only work on windows xp and older versions of IE. Oh and thanks for turning me onto pre sonic genesis indirectly with the D&D cron website. I really hope he keeps it going. (And you as well.)Sean697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9186345736950611814.post-51010662908601040732011-10-16T19:40:24.188-07:002011-10-16T19:40:24.188-07:00Dragon Quest V for DS, although rather dated by to...Dragon Quest V for DS, although rather dated by today's standards, is still one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I assume so much was hacked out of the US release to save on ROM space.

I'm pretty sure there was no sequel to 100 Man.... in Japan. The fact that the US version got a US-only "sequel" leads me to believe Casino Kid sold OK over here. The whole thing is sort of like Capitol Records rearranging the songs on Beatles albums in order to come up with new, US-only albums.

And if there is Drunken Kung Fu, why can't there be I-am-getting-laid Kung Fu? I can imagine a "Donkey Punch" attack being involved.Doctor Sparklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01328442015557051088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9186345736950611814.post-28349652782862318622011-10-16T13:12:29.024-07:002011-10-16T13:12:29.024-07:00To add a somewhat interesting twist to Casino Kid ...To add a somewhat interesting twist to Casino Kid the Japanese version, 100 Man Dollar Kid: Maboroshi no Teiou Hen, is completely different. The NES release essentially chops up the Famicom game, throws out all of the story, traveling aspects, two of the games, and then glues some of the pieces back together in a single casino.

Casino Kid II (which I think was NES only) added roulette and the traveling back but ditched the "casino" aspect completely. It's almost like a rework of some of the original game's features that were aborted in the NES version.InsaneDavidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18103863809477472390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9186345736950611814.post-26722376283526266272011-10-16T12:08:59.652-07:002011-10-16T12:08:59.652-07:00Goths in swimming trunks?
