Sad, but the guy was hella old.

And sizone, that theory is absurd since Onstad has those ridiculous little wiener dogs, and I own normal dog-sized dogs. You probably have heard the news that Yamauchi has passed away, correct? If not, he died on the 19th of September from Pneumonia, aged 85. Only his children survive him. So I was thinking maybe the next Chrontendo would have a "moment of silence" for him, since he was the most influential figure for that time."

Also, I am still waiting for that episode of Chrontendo where you play a bad TOSE/Micronics game. So that way, you can start it out with "If you're having Kuso-ge problems, I feel bad for you son. I've got 99 problems, but a Japanese Contract Developer ain't one", referencing the nefarious hip hop song by Jay Z.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9186345736950611814.post-50522084701682596552013-10-12T00:31:55.599-07:002013-10-12T00:31:55.599-07:00Sparkle, take your time. Well, a day before the show, I became about as sick as I've ever been, and I couldn't make it. I'm still bummed about it. But yeah, I have heard that their shows can be hit and miss sometimes due to the complexities of the songs and the effects used. If they're in a place with bad acoustics especially.Skymaster Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10156947011104112417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9186345736950611814.post-1201323256632168342013-10-07T03:34:14.506-07:002013-10-07T03:34:14.506-07:00So what would say was was your favourite look for ...So what would say was was your favourite look for Ozzy?

I have to say his turn in The Ultimate Sin as a J.R. ripoff was amusing. It was a good show, but all the songs were sung with various effects to make the singer's voice all spooky and robot and industrial. Then between songs he spoke in his normal non-distorted, polite, cheery, Canadian voice. "Hey guys, thanks for coming out! How's everybody doing?" Definitely the biggest incongruity between stage patter and performance I've witnessed.Doctor Sparklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01328442015557051088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9186345736950611814.post-56606673013859172822013-10-06T05:56:37.445-07:002013-10-06T05:56:37.445-07:00Skinny Puppy still always manages to put on a good...Skinny Puppy still always manages to put on a good show, but I may be biased. sizonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04480823577649350081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9186345736950611814.post-3353018232448330682013-10-05T18:37:10.276-07:002013-10-05T18:37:10.276-07:00Eh, rock is dead.

Yes, it will be back. No, I am not dead."

Uh oh. I hope it will be back. I love your work. I respect it and look forward to it and think it's important to document early video game history. You do a great job, and I check the site 3-5 times a day to look for updates (and have been since Episode 3, which I guess is right about 6 years ago now).

But, to point out the obvious, it's been over four months since the last video, which was a Chronturbo episode and was preceded by a post titled "No, I'm Not Dead," and eight months since the last Chrontendo episode. Labeling this a "hiatus" suggests nothing is being worked on.

I hope that's not true, because you have a project here that educates people and makes them feel good and does something for the future, if that's not putting it too heavily. You've started something that's important. And you do it on your own time, for free, just to give something to people. Don't give up on that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
