It's May 22, and the world still hasn't ended so I guess this means I'm going to have to finish up the new Chrontendo. It's being
hastily thrown together carefully edited even as I'm writing this. Check back in a day or so.
Until then, I'll leave you with this:
For those who didn't see this on Boing Boing, it's
a urinal made of SNES cartridges, complete with how-to instructions.

This should be the fate of all discarded Maddens
Something died inside of me when I saw it. Those games may be crap, but it's someone's work which used to be costy. I have many terrible games in my collection, but none of them I'd destroy on purpose.
When I first saw this I was dismayed at the potential loss of valuable SNES carts but I was relieved to find that they were mere sports titles and Super Scope 6 carts. Oddly, I recently pulled my Super Scope out of the closet and realized why I hated it so much as a kid: The damned thing's batteries die too easily and it doesn't want to work half of the time. It's a fitting afterlife for these titles if you ask me.
the site says it was made out of games that were broken already so no worries if you're thinking destroying snes games is a crime.
You can break a SNES game?
My guess would be accidental water damage or some sort of impact that broke something internally but left the case intact.
